If the phone receives a phone call while playing music – the JAUX_BT module will stop playing the song. When the call ends, it will resume playing again.
4. DOES JAUX_BT-01 ALLOW YOU TO INSTALL AN ORIGINAL CD CHANGER? SHOULD YOU REMOVE THE CD CHANGER? CAN YOU STORE THE CD CHANGER IN THE DASHBOARD, ESPECIALLY FOR 2G MMI BASIC?
JAUX-01 / JAUX_BT-01 simulate a CD changer and are so perceived by the MMI system. For MMI Basic, the additional CD changer must be disconnected.
According to our information:
• MMI Basic (red display), supports one additional CD changer.
• MMI 2G High, supports 2 additional CD changers.
• MMI 3G Low, 3G High, 3G +, supports one additional CD changer.
5. IS THE JAUX-BT-01 MODULE THE SAME DEVICE WHAT THE JAUX-01 BUT WITH THE BLUETOOTH AUX MODULE?
The JAUX_BT-01 module has a built-in bluetooth module. The device installation is identical to the JAUX-01 module.
6. CAN THE JAUX_BT-01 MODULE OPERATE IN MMI 2G AND MMI 3G UNITS?
The JAUX_BT-01 module has different software for the MMI 2G unit and different software for the MMI 3G unit. If you run the JAUX_BT-01 module with MMI 2G software, the MMI 3G unit will not display the song list. You will see „loading”. The rest should work properly. If you run JAUX_BT-01 with MMI 3G software on the MMI 2G device, you will not be able to use the toggle buttons on the MMI 2G console.
7. WHAT BLUETOOTH VERSION DOES THE JAUX_BT MODULE USE?
In our devices we use the Bluetooth version: 4.0 A2DP.
8. IT CAN HAPPEN WHEN PLAYING MUSIC BY THE BLUETOOTH JAUX_BT-01 MODULE, INTERRUPTIONS OR DISTURBANCES IN AUDIBLE SOUND MAY BE TAKEN.
This problem arises from interference caused by the original Bluetooth module mounted in Audi and the use of the same music player. If the above problem occurs, it is recommended to disable the factory Bluetooth module function in the Audi Menu and use the phone for only one mode of operation, which is music playback by the JAUX_BT-01 module.
